The data recovery of monoliths is - compared to other (flash) storage media - much more complex, because the controller unit, the memory chips and other components are bundled toghether within a single component.
The manufacturers generally do not provide any information or documentation about the structure, the wiring and the conductor tracks, so each model is to be regarded as an individual research project when it is first received. Only when you have analyzed the layout can you attempt to recover the data.
For this reason, we often offer the processing of such cases as an extended diagnosis.
