Procedure and costs

Please call us immediately. We will go through the procedure of the data rescue step-by-step together with you. You decide on how fast you need your data reconstructed. We will be there for you around the clock. In over 90 per cent of all cases we are able to rescue data  and return them to the customer in a new data medium within a short time. Please make an appointment for the diagnosis with our technicians.

Description

  1. Our specialists consult you by phone or by e-mail.

  2. You first order the data diagnosis.

  3. You send the carefully packed data medium to our laboratory.

  4. We rescue your data already during the diagnosis.

  5. We draw up a report and an offer for the data rescue.

  6. You receive a list of the reconstructable data (except in case of a prolonged diagnosis). You can check upon the rescued data  in our lab.

  7. After the diagnosis you decide whether you order the data rescue.

  8. You order the data rescue.

  9. We deliver the data, if you wish so in truecrypt.

Raid-Systems With Raid-Arrays we charge 50% of the diagnosis costs from the second data medium. In case of Raid-Arrays of five data media or more we offer special conditions. Please ask for them!
Media and datasystems The stated prices apply to Hard disks with standard data systems (FAT, NTFS, EXT, HFS, REISERFS). Prices for other media and/or datasystems (tapes, Flash, etc.) are available upon request. Attingo can change the costs for the diagnosis in case of extraordinary circumstances like flood, explosion, etc.
Prolonged diagnosis In rare cases (less than 1 per cent) we offer you a so called prolonged diagnosis. This will occur, if the damage we detect in our diagnosis will be more substantial, than we could estimate in first instance on base on your information. In such a case the costs of the data rescue will considerably exceed, those estimated and mentioned by us. Around 80 per cent of the costs of the prolonged diagnosis is made up by those of working hours, the rest by those of materials. The prolonged diagnosis will require more work and time and will on the average last between two and four weeks.
Payment conditions Sale against cash in advance (Invoice, cash, ATM or credit card). The diagnosis starts already before payment. Before you pay the data rescue you can check upon all reconstructed data.

Tape reconstruction

Attingo reconstructs and catalogues tapes of all systems and generations as well as sorting contemporary and historical archives. Loose tapes are being catalogued and checked whether they can be used. In our laboratories we have the required specialised equipment for reconstructing faulty tapes.

Consulting on data rescue and data loss

We offer you our professional advice about data rescue and data loss. Our team consists of engineers with over 20 years of experience as well as experts and UNO-inspectors on behalf of computer forensics. You will pay € 2.800,00 excl. VAT per day (10 am - 18 pm, 7 hours). We are always ready to calculate the costs of your personal Consulting-package.
 

Special Analysis

Attingo analyses individual cases and problems in the field of data rescue and data loss. For example we are able to test the quality of harddisks as well as soft- and hardware for datasecurity and we can analyse defect data media. Our specialists are always available for advice.
