Tuesday 04.11.2008 – UK: Trouble with government data.
Again the UK was shaken by trouble with computer data. A memory-stick with user names and passwords belonging to the tax administration was found on a parking lot. The web site had to be closed. Attingo warns that even memory-sticks which seem to have been destroyed can be repaired by data recovery specialists!

Tuesday, 14.10.2008 - Himalaya-movie saved thanks to Attingo Recently a camera team was making a tv-movie in the Himalaya’s at 4000 meters above sea level. Because air pressure is very low at that height the extremely thin layer of air on which the writer of the hard disk floats, had vanished and this had resulted in a head crash. At Attingo however we succeeded in saving the data and the movie. |
